Public Speaking Express Labs
In addition to the more than 100 printed and video/audio taped available resources, you can also schedule a time to have your public speaking presentation videotaped by XCEL peer Leadership Consultants (XLCs). You will be able to view your presentation on video, and instantly receive a critique of your public speaking skills with suggestions offered by the XLCs.

Public Speaking Development Program
If you want to work on your public speaking skills and you have a little more time available, consider the Public Speaking Development Program! This program is self-paced, and can be completed in a matter of weeks or spead out over 2 semesters! The Public Speaking Development Program includes:
- attentance at a public speaking workshop
- completing public speaking labs
- reviewing good and bad presentations
- reading and reviewing a book about public speaking skills
- self critique
- personal reflection
- a capstone presentation
