The Center for Excellence in Student Leadership
The XCEL Center provides opportunities to connect with co-curricular involvements, build communication skills and utilize services and programs designed for student leadership positions. The XCEL Center offers support in three primary areas:
- helping new students connect to co-curricular opportunities
- providing public speaking and mock interviewing labs for students
- coordinating support and recognition programs and services for students who are involved in leadership positions across campus
Students trained as XCEL Leadership Consultants (XLCs) help to staff the center.
